Home of film reviews in Australia

At ChocBomb, we bring Australian film reviews and scores for every film released in Australian cinemas into one easy-to-find place. You can read sample quotes from critic's reviews, see their scores (out of 100) and link to their full review. If it's 51 or over, it gets the 'choc'. If it's 50 or under, it gets the 'bomb' ('NS' denotes no score recorded yet). We also collate all scores into an overall average critic's score for each film.

Subscribe to ChocBomb (it's free!), bookmark it, and stay up to date with all the reviews and scores. There's ticket give-aways and more.

Easy! Take a bite from the ChocBomb - we hope you like it.

Disney's new animated family film, Planes, will be touching down in Australian cinemas on Thursday, September 19 (and Sept 26 in WA, ACT and TAS), just in time for the school holidays! To celebrate, ChocBomb and Disney are giving you the chance to win an in-season pass to PLanes for you and three friends!

Planes tells the tale of Dusty (voiced by Dane Cook), a crop-dusting plane who dreams of becoming an air race flyer. The only problem is, he’s afraid of heights! With a little help from an aging war fighter (Stacy Keach), Dusty qualifies for the most challenging air race in the world against a contingent of international racers. But he must overcome his fears along the way.

For your chance to win one of five (5) in-season passes to Planes for four people, go to www.chocbomb.com.au/ContactUs, fill in your name and email address (in the ‘Subscribe to ChocBomb section in the right column) and tell us about YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE SCENE ON A PLANE.

This competition closes at 5pm (AEST) on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Winners will be chosen from all entries at 12pm (AEST) on Thursday, September 19, 2013 and winners only will be notified by email.
